David Matysiak
Since 2000, I've Disc Jockeyed events from my hometown of Atlanta, GA to Omaha, NE. It started as a hobby while attending school at UGA in Athens,
GA. I really just wanted to hear my favorite music through loud speakers. Up until moving to Omaha, NE in 2006, I have DJed at weddings, night
clubs, house parties, rock clubs, school events, and even a few New Years Eve celebrations. I believe I am the best DJ for any job because I
understand that everyone has a unique taste in music. That being said, rotating different styles of music and timing them just right are everything
to making a party unforgettable. I can read the dance floor, so to speak, and always have been able to keep a diverse crowd happy. I have the
energy. I have the passion. Most importantly, it's what I love to do.
"These days, DJs seem all alike. We wanted something different. David gave us that!"
-- Donna & Mark - Atlanta, GA
Donna and I were truly blessed with how our wedding day turned out; it is a day that will remain forever special to us and one not to be forgotten.
There were a number of areas were David helped tremendously. For us, we were hoping that the tone of our reception would revolve around the music
and dancing. As such, having the right mix of “talent” and the right blend of music would be crucial. We had several references for DJ’s and we
spoke and met in person with several. We initially were feeling OK with a couple of them and were about to offer the job to one of them. Then we met
David and immediately knew we had to hire him. What we especially liked was how he let us “do the talking” while he listened to what we had to say.
When he repeated to us what we told him we wanted, we thought “this guy gets it”!
On our wedding day, here is what we liked:
- David showed up on time
- He came prepared with all the proper equipment
- He had all the music we requested plus a great mix of music we had not requested but what you sensed would blend with the tone of the reception.
- He maintained his professionalism throughout.
- We had requested certain songs and certain types of songs not to be played. We were elated that he professionally declined a couple of song requests “at the request of the bride and groom”.
- Beyond DJing, David took the initiative and acted as what I would refer to as the “director” of our wedding. He made sure everyone was having a good time by having a good time himself. It was evident that his enthusiasm rubbed off on our guests.
- David allowed my bride and me to truly relax and enjoy our wedding day and guests without having to worry about anything.
- These days, DJs seem all alike. We wanted something different. David gave us that.
It is with our pleasure for us to highly recommend him!!
With warmest regards,
Donna and Mark Urbano

Anthony Miranda
My DJing years started the year 1998 while I was in college. Putting CD's into a CD player was fun for me along with entertaining the crowd.
One dorm room party turned into a house party which turned into a fraternity event which turned into club DJing. My first real DJ gig was at a
night club in Kearney, NE. This was what I liked most because it gave me more leeway to play what I wanted. After this ended I turned to family
events. This included New Years Eve bashes as well as family referred weddings. I started my own business, Miranda Sound and branched out from
there. Learning to entertain vocally and through the music are necessities if you want to be a successful DJ.
